Little is known about the mysterious house of Ordos. It is originally a 'creation' of the Guild, and it is known that the Ordos main income is based on smuggling.

Their is not known who lead the house Ordos, but probably it is council of 'business men'.

Ordos is not a very good house when it comes to war-fare, even though they have the resources to be one. The armie are mostly hired and the moral among the warriors are therefor not seldom the best. But the Ordos have one secret weapon, a special gas. A very special gas.

The house isignia: The Snake.

House Harkonnen is the most evil and brutal house. The Harkonnens are long-time enemies of the Atreides family. Baron Vladimir Harkonnen is well known for his cruelty. Feyd-Tautha Harkonnen, Baron's nephew, is an ambitious, aggressive and impulsive character. Geidi Prime is the home planet of the Harkonnens.

The Baron Harkonnen thinks that he perhaps have the Emperors seat in range, and therefor he is willing to give everything to crush the Atreides, if that would help him to his goal.

In Dune 2 the Harkonnen forces are perhaps the most effective in battle. Their Devastator tank is the most powerful weapon... if you are able to use it the right way.

House isignia: The Bull.

Atreides is a noble house that comes from the planet of Caladan, the "waterplanet". Their leader is Duke Letho Atreides, who is a very noble and just man. Atreides military forces are all very loyal to the house. Their strength lies in an exceptional air force. They also have a very high quality on their vehicles and structures. Another thing is that the Mentat is highly-skilled.

Atreides is not a very rich house, but their leaders are generous. Duke Letho rule the house with a noble spirit and his people wish nothing but peace and honor.
