House Harkonnen is the most evil and brutal house. The Harkonnens are long-time enemies of the Atreides family. Baron Vladimir Harkonnen is well known for his cruelty. Feyd-Tautha Harkonnen, Baron's nephew, is an ambitious, aggressive and impulsive character. Geidi Prime is the home planet of the Harkonnens. The Baron Harkonnen thinks that he perhaps have the Emperors seat in range, and therefor he is willing to give everything to crush the Atreides, if that would help him to his goal. In the PC-RPG the Baron Harkonnen is cooperating with the Emperor in order to crush the Atreides. The Emperor helps the Harkonnens by demanding Spice from the Atreides all the time. This is very difficult for the Atreides to pay, which is also the purpose. |
